CALENDAR
You will receive email notices of dates, times, locations, etc
of upcoming meetings or events if you are on the SCSOASD email
list. If you want to be on the list email Bob Peterson at scsoasd@yahoo.com.
Preseason meetings typically consist of three sessions.
The first season meeting is usually in October with others scattered
throughout the season which lasts into March. Dates will be posted
here as they are firmed up.
For our 2009/2010 season the specifics are as follows:
Session 1 - Sept 30, 2009: combined all member meeting and training
session I.
Session 2 - Wednesday, October 21, 2009, from 6:00 - 9:00 PM.
Session 3 - Wednesday, October 28, 2009, from 6:00 - 9:00 PM:
rules test.
General meeting - November 4, 2009. Makeup test at 6:00, meeting
at 7:00.
CIF certification mandates that you attend
annual training. A record of attendance is sent to the CIF Office.
Meetings will be at Thurgood
Marshall Middle School Performing Arts Center (theater) in
Scripps Ranch. Click on the link above for a Mapquest map of the
nearest intersection - at the top of the Mapquest page is place
to ask for directions. Thurgood Marshall M. S. is located at 9700
Avenue of Nations, San Diego, CA 92131 (Thomas Brothers map #1209,
H-6.).
NOTE: neither Mapquest nor
Google show the correct location of the school. The link above
will get you to the intersection of Pomerado Road and Willow Creek
Road/Avenue of Nations. Turn south off Pomerado Rd at the intersection
of Willow Creek Rd and you will be on Avenue of Nations. Marshall
school is the first buildings (on the right) on Avenue of Nations
going toward Alliant University. Take the second driveway. Note:
Both Marshall Middle School and Alliant University are mis-located
on Mapquest and Google maps - I am trying to get this corrected.
