Assignors Policies and Procedures

1.        Unit assignor will not accept requests from Unit or board members for specific game

       assignments.

 

2.        Unit assignor will not accept requests from schools or representative of a school’s

       sports program for specific officials on game assignments.

 

3.        Unit assignor will require each member to submit a “ declaration of school affiliation”

       each season.

 

4.        Unit assignor is required each year to submit to SCSOA a list of high school soccer

       coaches within their Unit.

 

5.        Unit assignor will not assign high school soccer coaches to any varsity games.

 

6.        Unit assignor will ensure neutrality of game officials, in that no official will be

       assigned to the same school/varsity team more than three times during the season,

       both home and away.

 

7.        Unit assignor will comply with NFHS guidelines in game assignments to

       ensure officials can communicate with all participants. Best efforts to ensure

       at least one official can communicate in English or Spanish where applicable.
