Officials Classifications

 

Grade 1      All games, Lead Referee

 

Grade 2      Level 2 games, Lead Referee with lower level officials

 

Grade 3      Level 3 games, Officiate Varsity with grade 1 or 2, officiate JV with  

                         grade 3

 

Grade 4      Officiate JV with higher level Referee, Officiate JV with grade 4 referee

 

Grade 5      Officiate JV with higher rated referee, Officiate Soph/Frosh with grade 5

                         referee.

·          Years of officiating (USSF, NISOA, CIF, and AYSO)

·          Physical fitness test results

·          Assessments

·          Game level experience

·          Knowledge of rules (exam scores)
